Public Awareness
Purpose
The purpose of this workshop is to conduct a focused consultation on public awareness aspects of the Green Paper on the National Climate Change Response.
- Recommendations for improvements into White Paper.
- Strategies for improving public awareness regarding climate change.
- Strategies for participating in mitigating (reducing personal and institutional carbon footprint) and adapting to impacts (disasters, changes in climate patterns and associated changes in natural resources).
- Presentations from Department of Environment Affairs and Human Sciences Research Council to stimulate discussions.
